COVID-19

Voting in the COVID-19 Pandemics

Although most states have implemented COVID prevention measures during the pandemics for the elections, the requirements and what have been put in place vary state by state, and county by county. Here is a general guideline for your reference: https://www.vote.org/covid-19/

Please check the website of the Secretary of State of your state, and your county election office for details in your local area. In some states, counties have made it safer and easier to vote, whiles in other counties and states, it may become even unsafe and harder to vote.

The situation differs from county to county and state to state, so please contact your local election board or office for more details, and take necessary precaution to protect your safety and your voting right.

Common Questions:

-Will voters be required to wear masks when they go to vote?

This depends on your state requirement. Some state may be more relaxed in this rule than others. Always check with your county and state election website site, and contact them for any questions.

No matter what county and statement requirements are, you can always protect yourself by taking the precaution needed.

We strongly recommend our voters make a plan, set up a date, time, and location, to vote early. Find a date, time, and location that is less crowded. Do NOT wait until the election day to cast your vote. You may run into a long waiting line, or a crowded place when time moves closer to the election day (Nov 3rd, 2020).

-Do I need to prove if I have a risk of COVID or if I am afraid to go to vote, can I apply for Vote By Mail?

This depends on your state requirement. Some state may be more relaxed in this rule than others. Always check with your county and state election website site, and contact them for any questions.
